~ Balanced Reviewing ~

What Is A Balanced Review?
A balanced review is a review that has shown both sides. Generally speaking, the reviewer will state what they enjoyed about the piece, and then add one friendly suggestion for improvement. The review should be closed with a positive note. This way the author gets feedback that not only makes them feel confident, but also gives them insight into how they could improve.

Why Leave A Balanced Review?
Balanced reviewing is good, because it forces the reader to show that they read and understood the piece, as well as providing the reader with insight as to new writing techniques. It also shows the author their strong and weak points. So everyone wins.

Soaks my skin through to the bone,
pain is nothing that a downpour won't erase.
Rain - you can't hold onto it.
A treasure you cannot break.
Rain - so now I'm drawn to it.
I feel engaged, one and the same.
When heaven's dressing beads off of my face,
then pain is nothing that a downpour won't erase.
